BUY LESS BUY BETTER BUY HANDMADE CHRISTMAS SHOPPING CAMPAIGN

Great Northern Contemporary Craft Fair have partnered up with some of the most influential organisations and individuals in the craft sector to create a national campaign designed to support makers across the UK and encourage shoppers to

BUY LESS, BUY BETTER, BUY HANDMADE.

Working with industry experts Folksy, Crafts CouncilHeritage Crafts,  and CRAFT Festival, the collaborative Christmas campaign encourages people to make conscious shopping decisions and choose to buy from local and handmade businesses like my own. With backing from TV’s craft celebrities Jay Blades, Keith Brymer Jones and Sue Pryke, the campaign message is that we don't need to blitz the high street or online megaliths for piles of mass-produced presents. Instead, we can give one kindly considered, unique gift, handmade with skill, knowledge and love to bring joy Christmas morning. Buying handmade also brings joy to us makers who are really feeling the pinch on their livelihoods and craft practice with the cost of living and energy crisis.
Where better place to shop handmade than GNCCF online which is on the 3-5 December. I will be exhibiting with 100 selected designer-makers from across the UK.

GNCCFonline goes live 8am Saturday 3 December at www.greatnorthernevents.co.uk

Support makers and buy handmade gifts this Christmas.

 Spread our alternative Christmas message.
